Alzheimer is a memory deficient disease.

Helen Lavretsky, a professor at California University opines and a study head opines that
“Memory training was comparable to yoga with meditation in terms of improving memory, but yoga provided a broader benefit than memory training because it also helped with mood, anxiety and coping skills”
Kundalini Yoga includes a systematic and regular practice of meditation, asanas, chanting mantra with a focus of awakening kundalini energy. It aims to focus on increasing the consciousness and the compassion in one’s life and thus called as the yoga of awareness. Kritan kriya is the ancient form of yoga practiced in India from ages to prevent emotional decline in the adults.
During the study, 25 participants of age 55 practiced meditation and took an hour of class once in a week in kundalini yoga and Kritan Yoga for 20 minutes a day. To everyone’s amaze, researchers saw an increased improvement in participant’s verbal and memory skills after 12 weeks.
The lead author of the study, Dr.Eyre at university of Adelaide, Australia noted “We’re converting historical wisdom into the high level of evidence required for doctors to recommend therapy to their patients”.
Hence forth Yoga can be the best cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Yoga is a pure science and when practiced regularly, can heal many things making a way for healthier life.
