Bangalore Metrolpolitan Transport Corporatoin – BMTC issues New Passes
BMTC will issue two types of daily pass for passengers worth Rs70 and Rs65 from the August 1. While obtaining Rs65 pass, BMTC ID card has to be furnished. This ID card is worth Rs 25 valid for a year and Rs 100 worth ID card is valid for three years.
However, earlier the Rs 70 pass did not require one to obtain BMTC ID card but officials found it was being misused. Hence ID card is compulsory for Rs70 pass. The passes will be available from August 1 to 15 at all bus stations and TTMCs.
