Huf! What a bad time the Paris is having. This massive attack actually shook the whole world. Nov 13th has turned out to be a black day for Paris where the residents of the city had to face a series of mass shootings, suicide bombings and hostage attacks. Explosions were heard outside the France’s most popular stadium, Stade De France
According to the investigators, the first attack was from the suicide bombers outside the Stade De France which blew at 9:20 PM where there was a Football match was going on between France & Germany. Still it is a mystery that the first attacker blew himself up outside the stadium where there were no people.
There was a Paris native in the attacker’s group
When Bataclan concert hall was attacked at around 9:40 PM, there was a 29-year-old Paris native, Omar Ismail Mostefai in the group. Although the three attackers were killed during a counter assault by french security forces the investigation is still going on.
Automatic and high power weapons were used in the attack
In one of the abandoned car, there were Kalashnikovs and other deadly weapons were found. There is an anticipation that the attackers were highly trained shooters and explosive specialists.
It’s a confirm news that at least 153 people were killed in the attack
One of the witnesses by name Ben Grant told to BBC that “There are lots of dead people. It’s pretty horrific to be honest … I was at the back of the bar. I couldn’t see anything. I heard gunshots. People dropped to the ground. We put a table over our heads to protect us. We were held up in the bar because there was a pile of bodies in front of us”.
It is declared as the National state of emergency by France
Since 1944, it is the first time France has declared a state of emergency. In a statement to the world, French president Francois Hollande said, ” A state of emergency will be declared. The second measure will be the closure of national borders”.
Eiffel tower’s lights got off in memory of those killed in Paris
Across the world, people are praying for the victims of the attack and there is a silence of graveyard in the entire Paris.
The attacker yelled “Allah Oh Akbar” before shooting
The attack is being tied to Islamic terrorism, possibly ISIS. A witness reports that the men yelled “Allah Oh Akbar” before they started shooting. Adding to this, the hashtag #ParisIsBurning is being used by the Islamic extremists.
Whatever said and done, this attack took the life of hudreds of innoncent people and we pray for them. R.I.P
