From the time, Mr. Narendra Modi became the prime minister (Pradhaan sevak) of India, we saw so many programs and initiatives bringing the feel of change in the minds of every Indian. Yes, this country is looking for a change however, it does not happen in one night. In the meantime, opposition and few among us said that Mr.Modi is wasting time and money in travelling abroad. Do Modi is wasting time travelling abroad? Let’s see what our fellow Indians say about this.
Siddharth Barman says
I would say it is his responsibility as Prime Minister. And we should be proud of him as after becoming PM he didn’t waste his time in photoshoot of doing publicity And its is a good indication at the international level & it shows how serious the head of a country is. This is what he is known for in Gujarat. After all, he is doing these visits not for others but for us.
Dhaval says
He is trying to procure foreign investment at the start of his term and in the latter part be in India and ensure it is executed and completed before the next elections. Also, all this foreign travel will encourage foreign trade between the countries ensure security with the neighboring countries. Also, this investment will usher in confidence in the domestic environment.
Manish chauhan says
The hallmark of a great leader is not how much he personally does or achieves but how he can capture the imagination of the people and inspire, motivate them to rally together towards building a stronger nation. And Mr. Modi as PM has done this very effectively through a mix of short, medium and long-term measures.
Vivek Trivedi says
I know what they achieved and the list is quite long but certainly I didn’t read about any scam in last 100 days; which is more than an achievement for us; after UPA days.
Ganesh RM says
Bhutan is a crucial country for India…..China is practicing Cheque book diplomacy to its neighbors and SAARC nations…so to counter China, India has to take Diplomatic steps to gain a strategic edge. I also believe Modi visited Bhutan to get its cooperation so that Bhutan doesn’t act as a refuge to terrorists from North-East India.
Anoop Vijayan says
Am an AAP supporter. And I want to see my country progress. It doesn’t matter who does it, if its good, it should be appreciated. Jandhan yojana or whatever it is called. Excellent initiative. He has displayed a vision for developing his constituency. A good start. Strong decision-making on foreign policy. For once as an Indian I feel that my country is led by a strong leader.
Mittali Sethi says
The healthcare patents are important with respect to India, for the reason that India is a signatory to WTO, and the associated TRIPS(Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights). In simple language, it means that if a drug company formulates a drug anywhere in the world and acquires a patent for it, no other pharmaceutical company should be allowed to sell the same drug.
Mr. Modi’s visit has planned to address gaps in understanding about the issue, and will be addressed in a different forum.
Sooraj Mehra says
He is going to abroad to take selfies. LOL
Olive sen says
I am sure there are people who will be able to point out the intricacies. My version is rather brief.
He went there to resell the concept of India as a growth engine. How much Obama and the US Administration were convinced will only be evident in years to come. Nevertheless, the amazing support which he was able to gather on foreign soil, really spoke volume about the man’s charisma. If he is able to deliver, what all he seems to promise, one must say that India will see better days in the near future.
Aayush Gupta says
A PM who might finally be able to solve some problems for a declining country. If modi shines through then we have hope for saving a country. And if modi is one of those from whom only some selected people will benefit from then my mother country is doomed.
Rahul Poddar says
I don’t think US should be expecting anything except they will try to force India to sign the NPT and WTO agreement but India’s stand is quite clear and correct and it is not going to happen. On the other hand, India will push US to accept its bid for a permanent seat in UNSC which would be strong message for the world and a right thing at this stage which is completely legitimate and correct
