Guru is given higher sthana than God and it is celebrated on full moon day in Hindu calendar month of ashada(July – august). This is an auspicious day, a sacred day to the memory of great sage Maharshi Veda vyasa. A teacher guru always have that respect if we are in school, colleges, universities, or anywhere.
